FILTERED WATER BOTTLES

The issue of Filtered Water Bottles has come up and I promised to post what I have found in my research. Please beware, that I may not have all the answers, but hopefully this is a place to start if you are needing to purchase filtered water bottles for your family.

Things to consider:

• The smaller the micron level, the more it will filter out
• The smaller the micron level, the slower the water flow
  
• How many gallons of water will it filter
  
• Some filters are replaceable, others are attached to bottle so you have to buy entire new unit at end of use
• Is the bottle made of bpa-free, food grade plastic
• How does it perform to limit odors and tastes

You may want to opt for a cheaper bottle and utilize the following advice:
